"Floyd G. DeLude, age 54, died Thursday evening at his home, after a brief illness. Born Nov. 7, 1893 in Saginaw, he had lived here all of his life. He was married here Nov. 26, 1912, to Martha M. Schmiegel, she survives him. He was a member of St. Andrew's Church, its Holy Name Society, and the Athletic Association. He was employed as a machinist at Wickes Boiler Works for 28 years. Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter and one son, Mrs. Donald L. Bremer; and Harold V. DeLude, both of Saginaw; one brother, William DeLude, Detroit; one grandchild, Michael L. Bremer.
Funeral service is 9 a.m. Monday from the Gossett & Cederberg Rose Chapel, 9:30 a.m. from St. Andrew's Church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Kroboth officiating, burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may see him after 12 noon Saturday at the chapel where they will meet for prayers 8:30 p.m. Sunday."
