CLARENCE SLOAN OBITUARY
Clarence E. Sloan, 88, of Holliston St. died Sun. Nov 16, at his home. His wife Mona P. (Keenan) Sloan died in 2005.
He is survived by his son, Victor Sloan and his wife Marie of Uxbridge; a daughter, Diane Boltas and her husband Ronald of Irving, TX; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Harold Sloan and 2 sisters, Grace Baer and Colleen Hofstetter all of Canada; and several nephews and nieces.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on Feb. 26, 1920 he was the son of the late C. Victor and Erma (Bergman) Sloan and has lived in Medway since 1972. Clarence and his wife came to the U.S. in 1950, after they where married. Mr. Sloan was a chemical engineer at Teller Environmental Services in Worcester and retired in 2006 from Adesa Auto Auctions in Framingham. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
His memorial funeral service will be held on Mon. Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge, MA. A calling hour will be held on Mon. Dec. 8 from 10 to 11 a.m.
