Mrs Williams, Wife of Minister, Dies at Residence
Mrs Jessie Williams, of 1236 Albemarle avenue, NE, wife of the Rev Felton Williams, prominent Methodist minister and head of the Atlanta Mission and Mountain View camp for girls, died yesterday at her residence after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm tomorrow in the chapel of Awtry & Lowndes. Burial will b in West View cemetery.
In addition to her husband, survivors include four daughters, Mrs Michael Koval, Miss Margaret Williams and Mrs John J Jarvis, all of Atlanta, and Mrs William F Howell, of East Point; two sisters, Miss Mary de Jarnette, of Atlanta, and Mrs T R Griffin, of Carrollton; a brother, L B de Jarnette, of Atlanta, and three grandchildren.
Born in Fulton county, Mrs Williams was graduated from Dr Price's Seminary, in Nashville, and Young Harris College. She taught for several years at Young Harris.
