Surviving is his son: Travis J. Tyler of Streator; his father: Terry Tyler of Streator; a brother: John Tyler; and a sister: Tara Lucas of Streator.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, grandmother: Betty Lindsay, grandfather: Gene Tyler and an aunt: Jackie Lindsay.
