According to the La Crosse Tribune (La Crosse WI) Saturday, October 25, 1969, page 10:
MRS. BERNICE PADDOCK
WARRENS, Wis. - Mrs. Bernice Paddock, 78, of Warrens died Friday, Oct. 24, in a Tomah hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Warrens Baptist Church. Rev. Boyce Wilcox will officiate, and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at Millston.
Friends may call at the Nineman Funeral Home in Tomah Sunday afternoon and evening and until 1:15 p.m. Monday and at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Paddock is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Addison Wood and Mrs. Ernest Wood, both of Warrens; four sons, Frank of Portland, Ore., James of Pomona, Mo., Kenneth of Tacoma, Wash., and Harold of Lake Forest, Ill.; three brothers, Phil James of Tomah, Kenneth of Tucson, Ariz., and Bert of Indian Hill, Colo.; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
