James E. Dunaway, age 83 passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. James was born April 27, 1939 in Mississippi.
James was a charter member of Country Woods Baptist Church and loved his Sunday School Class. His family and church family were the center of his life. He also enjoyed watching the Saints games and driving his tractor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Velma Terrell Dunaway; his wife, Charlene R. Dunaway. He is survived by his son; daughter; three grandchildren;and six great-grandchildren.
A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Country Woods Baptist Church, 6737 S Siwell Road, Byram, Mississippi. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 6737 S Siwell Road, Byram, Mississippi. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory may be made to St. Jude.
