David Settle Colvin, MD, 91, of Radcliff, KY passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY. Dr. Colvin was born on November 22, 1930 in Bandana, Kentucky and decided he wanted to be a doctor when he was about seven years old.

After graduating from Bandana High School, he attended Murray State College, now Murray State University. He was accepted into the Univer­sity of Louisville Medical School and went on to do his internship at Mercy Hospital in Indiana. After completing schooling, he worked one year for the state as a health doctor for Hardin and Meade counties. Dr. David Colvin opened his medical practice in Radcliff in 1961 and instantly became invested in the community. He was a founding member of the Radcliff Rotary Club, Radcliff Christian Church Disciples of Christ and Hardin County Playhouse. Dr. Colvin was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

Dr. Colvin was preceded in death by three siblings, Dorothy Barlow, James B. Colvin, Martha Fields; and a foster brother, Tom Calvert.

Survivors include: One sister, Ruth Gaskill of Radcliff, KY; two nephews, Michael Kreke, James Kreke both of West Paducah; and a host of extended family & friends.

Arrangements are pending. Burial will be at the Bethel Christian Church Cemetery, McCracken County, KY.
