She died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Superior Care Home of Paducah.
Mrs. Barlow was a native of the Ingleside community in Ballard County and a graduate of Bandana High School and Paducah Business College. She retired from MetLife Insurance Agency in Paducah as the office manager. She was a member of Christian Women's Fellowship TWO.
Survivors are two stepsons, Wayne and Richard Barlow; two sisters, Martha Fields and Ruth Hochbaum; one brother, David Colvin; and several stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Barlow, and one brother. Her parents were Forrest Dorris Colvin and Ella Virginia Burnley Colvin.
