Lee Williams, 92, of Fremont, Ohio passed away July 13, 2022. Lee was born on June 20, 1930 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Albert and Dorothy (Gerding) Williams. He married Myrtle Hopkins and she preceded him in death. Lee is survived by his son Richard Williams; grandchildren: Rich Williams, Robbee (Paige) Williams, Brandi (Ian) Owens; great grandchildren: Teagan Gower, Daniel Williams, and Blake Owens along with many loving nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, wife Myrtle, and son Ed Williams. Lee graduated from Fremont Ross High School. He worked for 40 years for Whirlpool. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church as well as the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 712. He enjoyed playing bingo and watching NASCAR where his favorite drivers were the Earnhardt's. Lee was an avid Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and University of Michigan Football. Per Lee's wishes, there will be no public services. The family would like to thank cousins Betty and Rhonda and especially Promedica Hospice nurses and assistants for their care and compassion. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio 43420.
