William E. Bennett, age 74 of Grassy Creek, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Bennett was born on May 9, 1948, in Ashe County, NC to the late Virgil and Juanita Marie Lewis Bennett.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Bennett.
William proudly served his country in the United States Army, as a Vietnam Veteran.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Susan E. Weese, and husband, Roger of West Virginia, two grandchildren, Hunter and Kaleb Weese, two sisters, Joan Linsinbigler and husband, Bob, and Wilma Pearson and husband, Barry, two brothers, Bobby Bennett and wife, Chris and Danny Bennett.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Calhoun Family Cemetery in Creston, North Carolina with military rites. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family in care of Susan; 4983 WV Hwy. 18, Troy, West Virginia 26443.
