Wanda was an amazing mother who instilled creativity and resourcefulness into her kids with passion and grace. She was an amazing seamstress, cook, builder, inventor, and homemaker.
Creative to her core, Wanda began a successful quilting business in 1998. She became well known for her quality of work as well as her beautiful heart she wove into each piece. She truly loved each quilt she put her hands on and treated them as individual pieces of art. Quilts from all over the United States, Mexico, and Canada found their way to her little shop without ever having to advertise. Her clients became genuine friends, and she loved each one of them.
Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Bessie Pennington, brothers, Marlin, Dale, Autry, sister, Mary, and granddaughter, Sarah.
There will be a viewing at 9 am on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022, at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Home followed by a short funeral service at 10 am. Graveside dedication will follow at the Central Cemetery.
