Dale was born in Central, Arizona, on June 29, 1950, to Howard George Pennington and Bessie Belle Coffey. Dale, along with his brothers and sisters, were raised in Safford. He attended Safford Schools and completed his education by earning his G.E.D.
Dale always loved the outdoor life where he could often be found doing what he loved. This would include hunting, fishing, trapping or spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.
Dale is survived by: his three children, his thirteen grandchildren, his seven brothers and sisters, and numerous other family members and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by: his father and mother, Howard and Bessie Pennington; and his brother, Marland Pennington.
Graveside memorial services for Dale will be conducted Sunday morning, October 20, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at the Central Cemetery. A potluck luncheon will follow at the American Legion in Solomon, Arizona.
