NIVENS - At the home of her father-in-law, H. G. Nivens, Pearl, wife of Alfred Nivens, died September 23, 1911. Pearl Boswell was born June 5, 1884, was married to Alfred Nivens February 22, 1904, was converted when young and united with Fellowship Baptist church in 1906. She lived a consistent Christian life, bore her long affliction with patience, and at all times expressed a strong hope in Christ and was willing to meet death. She leaves a father, three brothers, two sisters, a baby boy and a host of friends to mourn their loss. Her husband preceded her fourteen months. During her illness she was cared for by her husband' s family. Her funeral was conducted by E. Lee. Her remains were laid to rest beside the grave of her husband.
