NIVENS - Alfred Nivens was born October 8, 1879, and died July 25, 1910, aged 31 years, 9 months and 17 days. He was converted while young, united with Fellowship Baptist church about five years ago, of which he was a member at the time of his death. He leaves an invalid companion, little baby and an aged father and mother, three brothers and four sisters, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure. Done by order of the church, Josiah Smith, Rebecca Gillock, Samanthe Gillock, Zell Steward, committee.

Alfred Nivens died Monday at the home of his father, of tuberculosis. A wife and child survive him. His wife is low with the same disease.
