PIERMONT - Funeral services for Arthur F Creighton - Sr 74 of Route 2SC who died Monday at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital after a long illness will be held 2 pm Friday at Ricker Funeral Home, Lebanon. The Rev Robert Robb will officiate. Burial will follow in Gleason Cemetery Meriden. Born in Cambridge Mass Sept 30 1908 son of Silas and Bessie (French) Creighton he was a resident of Piermont for most of his life. Mr Creighton was self-employed operating a taxi in the Piermont area for many years. He was a member of Franklin Lodge F&AM, Washington Council of Lebanon, the Sullivan Commandry of Claremont, Kimball Chapter Order of Eastern Star of Lebanon, and the Meriden Grange.
Survivors include Ms wife Shirley (Densmore) Creighton of Piermont; a son, Arthur F Jr of Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, Crandall of Lebanon, Donald of Reno, Nev., and Wendell of Grantham; four sisters, Pearl Augustynk of Westwood, Mass., Daisy Benson of Lebanon, Jane MacKinnon of Lebanon and Ruth Guild of Montpelier, Vt.; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
