Katherine was born May 14, 1932 in Ashland, a daughter of the late James and Catherine Wells LeMaster. Her husband Paul Johnson, Jr. and a granddaughter Megan Rhea Johnson preceded her in death.
Katherine was a lifelong resident of Ashland and was a faithful member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Ashland.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Michael Leslie Johnson and wife Cathy of Lexington, David Lee Johnson of Ashland, James Russell "Rusty" Johnson of Ashland, Paula Kay Sennett and husband Garry of Lexington, her grandchildren she adored Michael Travis (Sylvia) Johnson, Maxwell David Johnson, Chase Tyler Johnson, Brady Paul Johnson, Brittany (Chase) McCrea, Lindsie Sennett, Stacie (Lucas) Reynolds, a great grandson Noah Reeve Johnson and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel by Rev. Stephen T. Smythers. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00pm.
