Born in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late Idris and Margaret Richards Price. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1945.
She had been employed by the Plymouth Dress Company and the Alta Products Company as a seamstress until 1985. She was a member of the Shawnee Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Sims was a member of the First Welsh Baptist Church of Plymouth and former member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sims ; a grandson, Daniel Sims ; and a brother, Arthur Price.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Schacht, and her husband, Robert, Plymouth; sons Paul and his wife, Dorothy, Plymouth; Harold (Tipper), New Cumberland; Edward and his wife, Vera, Harleysville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Thomas, Plymouth; Emily McAndrew, Plymouth; Gladys Toporcer, Middletown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. Anita J. Ambrose officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
