Michael Kenneth Ford, 20, of Yucaipa, died Nov. 26, 2021, in Calimesa. Michael was born on May 26, 2001, in Redlands.

Michael grew up in Yucaipa and graduated from Yucaipa High School in 2019. Michael had many hobbies and interests over the course of his short life. Those interests included stand up comedy that he performed on stage several times at his school's talent show. Michael had an eye for photography and media. He would often produce short films with himself as the staring role. Michael enjoyed a vast array of different music and movies.
Michael was always a sharp dresser and appreciated fashion, especially vintage fashion and would often wear clothes passed down from his late great-grandfather.
After high school, Michael held a few different jobs. One of those jobs was working at a Law Library in San Bernardino. While working at that job he developed an interest in law and had aspirations of one day becoming a paralegal. Most recently Michael was working as a barbecue cook at Los Rios Rancho in Oak Glen where he enjoyed learning how to barbecue meat and took pride in his job.

Michael's father, sister, brother and entire family loved him very much and he will forever be missed. He is survived by his father Jimmy Ford of Yucaipa; mother Angelina Naranjo of Barstow; Sister Liliya Ford and brother Jonathon Ford of Yucaipa; grandparents Jimmy and Mary Ford of Yucaipa; Craig and Juli Larson of Calimesa; great-grandmother Betty Schroeder of Yucaipa; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service was held at Los Rios Rancho located at 39611 Oak Glen Rd., Oak Glen, on Dec. 14.
