Judy was a graduate from UNC Charlotte, where she earned three degrees, and two masters in English and Special Education. She was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. Judy was very proud of her education and accomplishments. After her graduation she went on to teach in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school system, where she taught for over two decades.
Judy was a very charming person. She loved nature, animals, and bird watching. Her favorite flowers were Sun Flowers and Daisies. She had two dogs named Houdini and Italy Bear, and a cat named Tigger. She loved listening to good music. Elvis and the Beatles were her favorites.
She loved going on spontaneous day trips to the beach, a nice glass of Sangria and her White Russians while having a good plate of food. Judy loved to travel abroad. One of her favorite places that she traveled to was Ireland. She had an adventurous soul, she was a great friend and a very kind person to be around.
