Mrs. Nettie Murphy To Be Buried Friday
Mrs. Nettie Murphy, 77, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at her daughter's home, Mrs. I.J. Mobley, 1039 Alta Vista. She had been ill about four months. Funeral services will be held at Milligan Springs Church Friday at 4 p.m. with her pastor, Rev. Wade officiating. Interment will be at Milligan Springs Cemetery, about 20 miles east of Winona.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. I.J. Mobley, Jackson, and Mrs. T.B. Carroll, Jackson; one son, W.V Murphy, Chicago; four grandchildren.
She had made her home in Jackson for ten years, coming here from Stewart in 1939 following the death of her husband, R.T. Murphy. She was a member of the Baptist church. Lee Funeral Home in Winona is in charge of arrangements.
