The family of David Lawson will celebrate his life of 52 years at 10 am on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Chapel. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He passed on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

On July 21, 1969, David Glenn was born to Gerald and Wanda Lawson at Reece Air Force Base in Lubbock, Texas. He married Vicki Grant on March 16, 1996, at Berrendo Baptist Church in Roswell, New Mexico. They were blessed with 25 years of marriage and three children.

He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and then attended Texas Tech University where he received a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Later he attended Midland College and earned a degree in Health Information Management. David spent most of his career at US Foods where he worked for 24 years. He loved to play the guitar, study the bible, and spend time with his friends and family. He's also known for his gift of gab, which usually included his witty and warped sense of humor. David loved well and was deeply loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Wanda Lawson; sister, Darlene Evans; and mother-in-law, Johnene Lynette Grant.
