Lance Guy Poole was born September 14, 1951 in Matador, Texas and left this earth for his heavenly home June 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Bettye Poole. He was a Floyd County Sheriff's Deputy, a Dougherty Volunteer Firefighter, a son, husband, daddy, granddaddy, great granddaddy and good friend. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. He leaves behind his daughter, Amber Norris and husband Scott, three grandchildren: Zachary Norris and wife Kassidy, Haley and Chloe Norris and three great grandchildren: Kaidance, Keslyn and Kinsley who he loved dearly.
