Caroline Elizabeth (nee Bava) Williams age 92 of Eleanor, West Virginia, departed this life on June 26, 2022 at Hubbard Hospice House of Charleston, WV.
Born September 24, 1929 at Pierce, WV to the late Pete and Lectie (nee Lipscomb) Bava. Caroline was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold S. Williams Jr.; son Garry Allen Bozic; brothers, Tony Bava, Daniel Bava, John Bava and Joseph Bava, Sister Mildred "Millie" Bennett.
Caroline was a faithful wife and a homemaker, and a former Waitress – Coopers Restaurant of Davis WV, Blackwater Lodge, 76 Truck Stop Rt. 34. A long time member of the New Vision Church of God in Eleanor and a previous member of the Cornerstone COG in Nitro.
She loved Gospel Music and it became an integral part of her life. In the 1940's & early 50's she sang and played the guitar with her family with the John Bava County Cousins. They traveled and sang Gospel on the radio for all who would listen.
They were special people and to know them was to love them. Their door was always open and if he didn't make you laugh or you left hungry something went wrong. They are both dearly missed. What a reunion in Heaven they have had returning home to family and friends that have gone on before.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at New Vision Church of God at Eleanor.
Interment will follow on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m in Rosehill Cemetery at Thomas, WV.
