Rose Anne Ramsey was the first wife of Samuel Volturner Tripp. Married in 1854, they had five children before her death at age 30. According to page 103 of "Old-Timers of Southeastern California," copyright 1967, written by Lester Reed, a grandson of Rose, she was buried on the old Webster Ranch near Yucaipa.
