William Henry Hadley, for the last 35 years a resident of Merrill, Oregon passed away at his late residence Saturday, February 22, 1941 at 8:10 p.m. following an illness of seven months. He was a native of Ashgrove, Ill., and at the time of his death was aged 72 years 11 months and 20 days. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.Susan C. Hadley of Merrill, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice D. Goldsworthy of Merrill, Ore., and Mrs. Hazel M. Jobe of Compton, Calif.; one son, Frank Herman Hadley of this city; one sister, Alice A. Hadley of Watseka, Ill.; five brothers, Alpheus W. of Siux City, Ia., Charles E. of Portland, Ore., Z. Eliner of Courtland, Ala., and Frank Herman Hadley who is a twin brother, and Walter V., both of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren, Sterling Jobe of Compton, Calif., Ruby, Violet, Joyce and Wesley Goldsworthy of Merrill, Ore.
