GEORGE LIST
MASON CITY (PNS) George List, 70, a retired rural Mason City farmer, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m Monday at the Moeller Funeral Home, the Rev. Steve Burgener officiating. Burial will be in the Mason City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Funeral Home.
He was born October 8, 1905 in Mason County, a son of Albert and Rosa Thomas List. He married Nellie Close on December 28, 1927, at Havana.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Glenn, Havana; a daughter Mrs. Donna Nehmeiman, Kouts, Indiana; three brothers, Roy, Archie, and Raymond, all of Mason City and five sisters, Mrs. Grace Doye, Mrs. Bessie Tomlin, Mrs. Ollie Croft, and Mrs. Elizabeth Legg, all of Mason City and Mrs. Rush May Ballard, Boulder, Colorado.
A siter and three brothers, and a grandson preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Easton United Methodist Church.
