❦ Early Life: Bruce was born February 28, 1961, the third child of Wayne Freddie and Margaret Mary Mutz Taylor. While growing up just outside Provo, in Lakeview, Utah, he enjoyed walking through the field to visit his grandmother, Genevieve Peterson. He also visited his great-grandmother, Elisa Startin, who lived behind the Lakeview Chapel. He worked for several dairy farmers from the time he was 13. In 1979, he graduated from Orem High School.
❦ Life's Work | Service | Interests: Bruce then went to college at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He graduated in the dairy herdsman program after which he went to work at a dairy in St. George, Utah. He also met Debbie Jo Gordon while living there, and were married January 16, 1981. They had four wonderful children: Jacob Bruce, Nicholas J., Shawn Wayne, and Lindsay Jo. Bruce raised his family in Fallon, Nevada, while working at the Mills Jersey dairy farm for 21 years. He loved being in nature while hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling with his family. He loved the Scouting program and has three Eagle Scouts to prove it. Bruce is loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed and always remembered. Bruce J. Taylor passed from this life September 13, 2021. He was 60 years old.
❦ Family Message: "On September 13th we found out that we lost a huge part of our lives when Bruce J Taylor left this earth to go home and be with his parents in Heaven. Our hearts are truly broken."
❦ Survived By: His sons: Jacob (Naiara), Nicholas (Rita), Shawn (Anna); his daughter, Lindsay (Jacob); grandchildren: Mila, Tyler, Ximena and Isabella, Damien, Kaeli and Launi, Isabella (Bella), Daisy and Robin; brother, Fred (Nora) Taylor; sister, Brenda (Chris) Jeppesen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
