Marcia Ann Beck, 69, of Des Moines, Iowa, went to her Heavenly resting place on Monday, May 9, 2022.
Marcia was born March 4, 1953, in Grand Island, the daughter of Harrison Beck and Alice (Lange) Bartlett.
She attended elementary school at Howard and Trinity Lutheran in Grand Island, and Mount Calvary Lutheran and Central High School in Omaha. She later attended Grand Island Senior High.
She began her military career in Lincoln with the Air Force Reserves in 1971 and retired from the military in 1995. She was stationed in San Antonio, Texas, and later at Holloman AFB in White Sands, New Mexico. She also served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
After retiring from her military career in 1995 she attended Southwestern Community College in Red Oak, Iowa, where she received her nursing degree.
Marcia worked for Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harrison Beck; her stepfather, Arthur Bartlett; grandparents, John and Josephine Beck and Arthur and Clara Lange; a stepsister-in-law, Doris Bartlett; a step-niece, Andrea Bartlett; and a step-nephew, Joshua Bartlett.
