Judith A. "Judy" King, age 80, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Thursday June 16, 2022 at the Hilltop Grand Village. Services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Deacon Tom Anderson will officiate. Interment will be held on Wednesday at Forest Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home. Judy was born in Wisconsin Rapids on April 25, 1942 to Harold and Viola (Brandt) Plahmer. She married Donald King on May 18, 1963 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. She was employed by Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company for two years prior to becoming a full-time homemaker. Judy enjoyed the outdoors tending to her park-like yard with its plants and flowers, feeding the birds and watching the deer come to visit. Her many pets were very important to her and were considered family. She enjoyed spending time with her family on camping trips and traveling.
