Marilyn K. Williams, 86, of Roseville, Ohio died at 10:35 AM, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at her daughter's residence following an extended illness.
She was born on Tuesday, December 10, 1935 in Roseville, the daughter of the late Donald H. Wagstaff and Evelyn (nee: Tracy) Wagstaff Sowers.
Marilyn as a homemaker, taking great pride in caring for her husband and children. She was an amazing cook and baker, always having baked goods for everyone. Marilyn was also a meticulous housekeeper, it was said you could eat off her floors!
She was a 1954 graduate of Roseville High School and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Roseville.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her daughters and their spouses, Patsy Samson, Beth and Kim Rice and Holly and Steve Jeffers; her grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Jess, Melissa, Kenny and Steve; her great- grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Serenity, Jenna, Scarlette, Clancy, Jonathon, Julia, Connor, Mackenzie, Ryleigh, Finn, Kol and Max and her great great-grandson, Hendrix and her step-sisters, Kris Wagstaff and Karen Wagstaff Hastings.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Erle Thomas Williams, Jr. who died July 10, 2014; her son, Erle Thomas Williams, III who died July 24, 2007; her step-father, Paul T. Sowers; her step-brother, F. Marvin Sowers and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Erle and Mabel Williams.
Family and friends will be received 6-8 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 18 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Combs as celebrant.
Marilyn will be laid to rest next to her husband in Rose Hill Cemetery near Roseville.
