ROSEVILLE - Erle T. "Tommy" Williams III, 42, of Sharon Avenue, Zanesville, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Genesis Good Samaritan Emergency Room after a sudden illness.
Born Jan. 13, 1965, in Zanesville, he was the owner and operator of Williams Auto Parts in Roseville and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Roseville. Tommy was an avid fan of NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt Sr., the Cleveland Cavaliers and an avid Harley-Davidson rider. He also enjoyed coin collecting with his stepson, Roman, and listening to his stepdaughter, Kamille, play her instruments.
He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Rita Staley Williams; his parents, Erle T. and Marilyn Wagstaff Williams of Roseville; his stepchildren, Kamille and Roman Staley of the home; three sisters, Patsy Samson of Roseville, Beth (Kim) Rice of Zanesville and Holly (Steve) Jeffers of Roseville; his special cat, Earnhardt; and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St. in Crooksville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2007, with Pastor Albert Laese officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery near Roseville.
