He graduated from Highland High School in 1968 and later married Millie Slabach on November 27, 1974. David was an avid coin collector and enjoyed antiques but spending time with his family was most important to him.
David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Millie; daughter, Jessica (Doug) Gassner, Washington; son, Paul Dill, Converse; sisters, Sandy Bova, Orlando, Florida; Julie (Robert) Syverson, Anderson; 2 grandchildren, Maxwell and Vincent Gassner; step father-in-law; Mark Horner, Kokomo; sister-in-law; Debbie Slabach, Sarasota, Florida; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Sparks.
In keeping with David's wishes there will be no services. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 East Marion Street, Converse was entrusted with the arrangements.
