She was born May 18, 1928, in Rushville, Ind., the daughter of Harley and Ethel (Nugent) Evans. She was an Anderson resident since 1945. She worked 25 years for Indiana Bell, then Anderson City Utilities and later Madison County Assessor's Office. She was a member of Daleville Order of Eastern Star #568, Madison County Ladies Shrine, charter member of Roosevelt Kennedy Club and a member of the Madison County Women's Democrat Club.
She is survived by her three children, Sandy Bova of Orlando, Florida, David (Millie) Dill of Converse and Julia (Robert) Syverson of Anderson; sister, Imogene Logan of Rushville; brother, Carl Evans of Rushville; three sisters-in-law, Rene Evans and Sue Evans of Anderson, and Marlene Evans of Chesterfield; 13 grandchildren; many great- and three greatgreat- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oliver E. 'Gene' Dill; daughter, Linda Sparks; and six siblings, NaomiBitner, Clarence Evans, Pauline Coy, Gerald Evans, Dale Evans and RaymondEvans.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Gloria Dunnaway-Harlett officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Private burial will take place at Bronnenberg Cemetery
