James B. Price, Master Sergeant, proudly served his country with the United States Air Force for 24 years from April 23, 1948 to February 1, 1972. Jim's tour of duties outside of the United States included Japan (4 ½ years), England (4 years) and Thailand (1 year) during the Vietnam Campaign. Jim's job descriptions were Electronic Warfare Technician for the B47, B52 and fighter jets during his tour in Thailand. While in England, he served in the office of Flying Safety as administrative clerk. Jim loved studying the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation. He was a Sunday School teacher for many years in both Aurora, Colorado and at First Baptist Church in Marshfield, Missouri. Jim's hobbies included traveling, playing with his computer and writing.
Funeral services for James B. Price will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. Burial at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
