Leila Jean Campbell, 91, passed away June 11, 2022, at the San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland, California.
Jean was born in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania July 30, 1930, to Victor and Gean (Morran) Welsch. In September 1946 she married Ralph Brannon in Tarentum, Pennsylvania and they had two sons - Dennis and Kenneth. On August 31, 1958, she married Charles "Chuck" Campbell in Casper, Wyoming. Chuck had four children from a previous marriage - Michael, Kay, Dixie and Judy.
Jean moved to Yucaipa in 2001 from Chino, where she had lived for 22 years. She was an active member of the Yucaipa Woman's Club and the Red Hat Society. Jean and Chuck spent many happy days traveling and camping with friends and fellow members of the Good Sam Club and the Happy Travelers.
Survivors include her two sons, one stepson and 2 stepdaughters, 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years Chuck Campbell, her sister Maxine Yurchick, her brother Richard Welsch, her stepdaughter Judy Robinson and grandson Ty McCain.
Services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:30 at Riverside National Cemetery.
