Andrew E. "Andy" Majersky, 61, of Warren, Ohio, Southington Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at his residence, of an apparent heart attack. He was born 1945 in Apollo, a son of the late Joseph N. and Anna Mikus Majersky. He was a 1963 graduate of Apollo High School and was also a graduate of the Northwood Institute in Michigan. He retired in 1997 from Packard Electric after 33 years, where he was a high lift operator. He was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church and had previously been a member of St. William Church in Champion, Ohio. He was a member of IUE-CWA 717 and enjoyed groundhog and deer hunting and target shooting. He was a Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Lana Nale Majersky, whom he married March 11, 1967; son, Ryan (Halley) Majersky, of Leavittsburg, Ohio; daughter, Erica (Don Lane) Majersky, of Champion; grandson, Tanis Rabel; granddaughters, Brittney and Marissa Beatty, of Olivia Lane, Ohio; brothers, Joseph A. (Patty) Majersky, of Apollo, and John (JoAnn) Majersky, of Cortland, Ohio. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the PETER ROSSI & SON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1884 North Road, NE, Warren, Ohio, where addition visitation will be held on hour prior to services Saturday. Services will be held at 10 a.m. with Father James P. Walker officiating. Burial in Graham Cemetery, Southington, Ohio, with military honors.
