MRS. MARTHA KIRBY
Mrs. Martha Kirby, 64, of 1819 Charles St., died at 10 p.m. Monday at her home. She suffered a heart attack.
She was an employee of the Williams Mfg. Co., working in the fitting room. She had been with the firm 27 years.
A native of Cincinnati, she was born Dec. 20, 1886, a daughter of Charles and Margaret Unwin. They came to Portsmouth in 1899.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Zilpha Martin of New York City and Mrs. David Williamson of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Crull, 2031 17th St. and a grandchild.
Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Daehler Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Goetz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may view the body at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
