Kevin was born on Dec. 7, 1982 in Greenwich, CT. Shortly thereafter, his family moved to Farmington Hills, MI.

Kevin attended Michigan State University and majored in Business. Sensing his call to the commercial real estate business, he left MSU early and began his career with Signature Assoc., Southfield, MI. Along the way, he invested in residential properties. He continued his career with Landmark Assoc., Farmington Hills, in 2010. Kevin worked his way from individual tenant leases to the sale of entire shopping centers.

He co-founded Landmark Investment Services. Kevin, along with a team of selected investors, were in the process of building the largest mixed-use development in the Midwest, Delta Crossing, Lansing, MI.

Kevin wore many hats: leasing, development, contractor, financier, and community liaison.

Kevin passed away on July 31, 2021 in an automotive accident in Miami, FL. He succumbed to multiple injuries after EMS and the local Miami hospital attempted life support measures.

Kevin is survived by his Wife, Hayra Barbosa Baker, his Son, Stepson and former wife (names being withheld due to the Florida Highway Patrol investigation).

In addition, Kevin is survived by his Brothers: Scott and Brendan; his Sisters: Emily (Jeff) Fain, Melissa (Mark) Rentfroe; his Parents: Sarah and John Baker. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Mary Baker and Grandfather, Jim (Barbara) Buhr.
