Mrs. Laura Goudie Bunnell, 71, affectionately known as Grandma Bunnell, died at Klamath Valley Hospital shortly after 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bunnell had made her home in the Spring Lake district for the past 39 years. Her husband, Albert C. Bunnell died in 1937. He was a well-known rancher in that district.

Born in the Shetland Isles, Scotland, Mrs. Bunnell came to this country as a young woman. She married in the Lone Pine District on Thanksgiving Day, November 29, 1906.

Survivors include a son, James A. Bunnell and a daughter, Mrs. Lois Schiesel, both of this city; three sisters, Mrs. M.W. Malcolm of Whittier, California and Celia Goudie of Shetland Isles, Scotland; two brothers, James Goudie of Huntington Park, California and William Goudie of Shetland Isles, Scotland.
