PICKENS, SC - William Bryan Clark, 79, a retired farmer of Route 1, Pickens, Blue Ridge View community, died Saturday.
A native of Pickens County, son of the late Jim and Mary Elizabeth Massingill Clark, he was a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Riggins, Mrs. Verna Abercrombie and Mrs. Bertha Day of Pickens, and Mrs. Fannie Pace of Easley; a son, Walter Clark of Pickens; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Childress of Six Mile and Mrs. Bertha Childress of Easley; a brother, Oscar Clark of Pickens; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church, with burial in Cross Roads Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Dillard Funeral Home.
The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
