Easley, SC - D. E. Clark, 80, of Route 2, Easley, in the Blue Ridge section, died at 5 p.m. Thursday at his home after a short illness.
Native of Pickens County, son of the late James and Bessie Massingale Clark, he lived in the Blue Ridge section many years, was a retired farmer and member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cumie Masters Clark; four daughters, Mrs. W. M. (Virginia) Brittan of Greenville, Mrs. D. L. (Dora Mae) Stephens of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mrs. Francis (Louise) Charles of Auburn, new York, and Mrs. G. E. (Rachel) Black of Greenville; two brothers, Oscar Clark of Pickens and Bryan Clark of Easley; three sisters, Mrs. Josie Childress and Miss Artie Clark of Pickens and Mrs. Bertha Childress of Easley; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Robinson Funeral Home.
The body is at the funeral home.
