The Lord welcomed RosaLee home on July 23, 2013, under the loving care of Absolut Care of Westfield, N.Y.

She was born the daughter of the late Lavern and Amy Perkins of Panama, N.Y., on April 21, 1937.

RosaLee loved animals from horses to chipmunks. She devoted most of her life to caring for the elderly. She loved to travel and make people smile. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ramona Lee Boozel; a sister. Marjorie; and a brother, Carl.

She will be sadly missed by her family, including three sons; Darrell Boozel and Will (RoseAnn) Boozel, both of Ripley, N.Y., and Rex Boozel of Westfield, N.Y.; two daughters: Starr Barrnett and Gina Boozel of Crossville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ross Perkins of Ripley, N.Y., and many other friends and loved ones.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, N.Y. Services will be held at the convenience of the family, burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
