James H. "Jim" Wade, 92, of Little Rock, a loving and devoted husband, brother, and father went to sleep in the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, May 30, 2022, Memorial Day; how fitting and beautiful is that to leave us on this day?

Jim was born, June 12, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended school and graduated from High School in 1947. He graduated from the University of Ohio in 1950. He was drafted into the United States Army and while on guard duty at a hospital in Seoul, Korea, was wounded by an enemy shell. He received the Purple Heart.

After his service, he moved to Little Rock to work with his brother, Henry.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 27 years; his siblings, Henry Wade, Marja Barrett, John Wade; his children, Jeff Wade, Judy Jett (George), Jennifer Frazier, Jerry Wade. Grandchildren are James Wade, Amy Beckius, Anthony Jett, Anna Mobley, Chris Wade, Sean Daugherty. He was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren. He was loved by Nancy's family, Sarah Wright (Scott), Audra Pousardien (Troy) and considered grandfather to Nancy's 4 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church on Monday, June 13, 2022. Burial will take place at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at 12 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHom
