A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Sister Angela Heimann ASC June 15 at the Adorers of the Blood of Christ Province Center Chapel in Ruma. An Adorer of the Blood of Christ for 64 years Sister Angela Heimann 85 died June 13 at St Clement Hospital in Red Bud after a brief illness. The youngest of seven children the former Catherine Cecilia Heimann was born in Damiansville Feb 18, 1911 to Frank and Margaret Fuehne .A registered nurse Sister Angela ministered at St Clement Hospital Red Bud, St Vincent Memorial Hospital Taylorville , St Joseph Memorial Hospital Murphysboro , and Good Samaritan Hospital Mt Vernon. From 1959 to 1993 she cared for residents at St Ann's Home for the Aged in Chester where she is remembered for her great love and concern for the elderly Sister Angela is survived by one sister Mary Toennies Albers and nephews' and nieces including Sister Margaret Heimann ASC.
