William "Bill" Black, 80, of Olney, passed away May 29, 2022 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.
Bill Black was born May 21, 1942 in Olney, IL to James and Eunice (Thomas) Black. He married Delma Earlene (Wheeler) on December 25, 1963 in Flora, IL.
Bill enjoyed oil painting and watching sports on television. He worked for the Olney Daily Mail for many years.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, two sons, a daughter, four grandchildren, a brother, and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by parents; sister, Carolyn Sue Black Bare; and nephew, Kevin Bare.
Interment will take place at Maple Dale Cemetery.
