Mr. Kenneth Coleman, 92, a resident of the Rives community, passed away early Sunday morning, May 15, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be at conducted at 11am Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Alamo Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3pm-7pm Tuesday, May 17, 2022, and on Wednesday from 9am until the time of service.

Cliff Johnson, Chad Priest, Justin Phillips, Dickey Jacobs, Ethan Jacobs and Mark Coleman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be J M Shanes, Roy Lee Ellison, Terry Sturdivant, Jessie Wilson and Charlie Priest.

Mr. Coleman was born in Tiptonville, September 5, 1929, son of the late Lexie and Verna Burton Coleman. He married the former Carolyn Lebo. She survives. He worked his whole life as a farmer.

Mr. Coleman proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of Alamo Baptist Church for more than 60 years, a member of Shade Tree Tractor Club and was known for restoring antique tractors in his spare time. On most pretty days, he could be found in his tractor barn where friends and strangers would stop to visit.

Other survivors besides his wife, Carolyn, include three daughters, Amanda Coleman of Baton Rouge, LA, Sheri Coleman of Ft. Myers, FL, and Martha Coleman Edinger and her husband Sandy of Sarasota, FL; two sons, Phillip Coleman of Rives and Robert Lee of Rockingham, N.C; one grandson, Cliff (Megan) Johnson of Houma, LA; and many nieces and nephews.

In additon to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Davis; and eight brothers, Wayne, Wade, Fred, J.C., Ralph, Bill, Dwight and C.C. "Pud" Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in honor of Mr. Coleman to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
