Mr. Bill G. Coleman, 83, of Troy passed away 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, October 28,2015, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Larry Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery near Troy.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Horace Dotson, Rudy Tate, James Easterwood, Chip Davis, Ricky Dotson, Lynn Dotson, Philip Coleman, Jeff Edmaiston and Donald Meadows.
Honorary pallbearers will be member of the Faith Sunday School class at Second Baptist Church.
Mr. Coleman was born December 5, 1931, in Tiptonville, son of the late Lexie and Verna (Burton) Coleman.
He married Mary Rebecca "Becky" (Nichols) Coleman November 18, 1952. She died May 5, 2008.
Mr. Bill was employed at the former Reelfoot Packing Company from 1959 to 1993 and by the Tennessee Pork Producers from 1993 until 2000.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City and the Faith Sunday School class.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Tracy Coleman of Union City; two granddaughters, Danielle Coleman of Glasgow, Kentucky and Elisha Easterwood of Union City; four great grandchildren, Johnathon David Easterwood, James Caden Easterwood, Adalynn Danielle Easterwood and Jase Lowell Easterwood all of Union City; one brother, Kenneth Coleman of the Mt. Pelia community; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lois Davis; and seven brothers, Pud Coleman, Ralph Coleman, J.C. Coleman, Dwight Coleman, Fred Coleman, Wade Coleman and Wayne Coleman.
