Born on July 26, 1908, in Woodbine, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lilly Keller Gosnell. She was the wife of the late Robert Edward Day.
She had been a homemaker and had been a foster mother to many children.
Surviving are daughter Margaret "Peggy" Day Martin of Baltimore, 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, Robert L. Day and John Edward Day and by 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday March 22, at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville. Interment is in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville.
