She was predeceased by her husband, William; parents, Robert and Winifred Boal, sisters, Isabel and Winifred, brother Robert, and grandson Todd.
She is survived by her two sisters, two daughters and their partners / spouses, five grandchildren and their partners / spouses, and three great-grandchildren.
She was born in Winnipeg, spent her younger years on the farm at Petersfield, and returned to Winnipeg where she worked at Winnipeg Photo and various other jobs. She attended Calvary Temple until her death and her love for children was evident in her many years of volunteering in Crusaders, nursery, and Youth Camp.
As much as she loved all "her kids", they loved her equally. In her later years, she volunteered at Donwood Manor for twelve years, then at her residence in Kildonan Manor on the social committee, and led exercises.
She was always helping seniors, even though she was often older than they were. In everything she did, she put her Lord, her family, and her friends before herself.
We would like to thank the staffs of Lion's Personal Care Home, Concordia Hospital, and her many friends at Kildonan Manor for all they did for her.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 1 pm on May 18th, in the main Sanctuary of Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, they may make a donation to Calvary Temple Camp on Red Rock Lake.
