Gilford Alton Clark of Houston, father of a Marlin resident, died Tuesday Oct. 11, 1988, in a Houston hospital. He was 76 and a former resident of Bremond.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday Oct. 14 at Walnut Community Cemetery near Bremond.
Mr. Clark was born Aug. 21, 1912.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Clark; two sons, Weldon Clark and Dennis Ray Clark, both of Robinson; four daughters, Joan Lavon Duhr of Marlin, Jewell Nelson of Bellmead, Peggy Whatley of Robinson, and Detra (Dee) Seek of Livingston; two sisters Alda Faye Hand of Columbus and Eugenia Olson of Bellmead; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family has designated favorite charities for memorials.
